Bactiquick - Salty Gecko Designs

Bactiquick came to Salty Gecko Designs looking for a new Shopify website having already instructed another agency to design their logo. This was a fantastic project to be involved with and was very much inline with our personal interests. A real-time water cleanliness testing kit – this is much needed in Cornwall and across the UK. Not only did we provide a modern, fresh looking website that fitted in with their new logo – we also provided Art Direction for a photo shoot which we setup with Hannah Fisher Photography. Keeping budget down for them by stepping in ourselves as models! We’re always in the water ourselves surfing, swimming, paddle boarding, days at the beach, participating in organised events – so we had a clear understanding of how the device would be used and who to appeal to.

Another part of the project was to create an instructional “How to” video which we arranged a voiceover artist for and then compiled. The project was a great success and the products have been very well received – winning innovation awards and going from strength to strength as an emerging new product.
