Through working with the UKHMA on their website I was invited to meet with the Mevagissey Trust to discuss the design of their website. This project offered a few challenges as although the Trust wanted to encourage visitors and tourism, it was not allowed to promote businesses due to it charity status and it was also vital to maintain a professional working harbour emphasis. Firstly we developed their existing compass logo for a smart new look and feel. Then we went about sourcing great photos from local photographer Matt Facey. Armed with these images we were able to allow Mevagissey to really shine. Functionality was key – a quick and easy route to essential information was needed, whilst making various information very accessible. We’re very happy with this project and hope both the general public and the trust enjoy using it. We’d love to work on more harbour website designs in the future.
